Inclusive Dance Workshops
April 20 - June 15th 12 pm - 2 pm
Location: 112 N. 8th Street, Philadelphia
Inclusive Dance workshops are designed for all people ages 18 and older. We welcome people with and without disabilities to come together for two hours to explore dance through the DanceAbility™ method. This internationally recognized method uses dance improvisation exercises to provide inclusion for all participants. Participants can explore self expression through movement and build community. No experience is necessary to participate and all levels of dance are welcome.

City Nature Challenge
ApriI 27th 11 am - 1 pm
Disability Pride Pennsylvania in partnership with The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University will join cities around the world to collaborate and share observations of nature in the 2024 City Nature Challenge. We will gather at The Schuylkill River Trail in front of the Lloyd Hall Recreation Center. There is a parking lot at the Lloyd Hall with a few accessible parking spaces. We will have two naturalists and will use the technology of two Apps, Merlin and iNaturalist as well as naturalist backpacks borrowed from the ANS to guide us and help us enter our nature findings for the challenge.

Disability Pride @ the Capitol
May 1, 2024 9 am - 2 pm
Join us for an amazing day of advocacy on May 1, 2024 between 9am-3pm at the Capitol building in Harrisburg. This is a day for all people who identify with a disability, Deaf, blind, neurodiverse, chronically ill, our friends, families, disability organizations, workers, and allies to come together and have our voice heard!
9-12pm: Visits with your representatives/senators
12-1pm: Rally with snacks and waters
1pm: Press Conference at the bottom of the front steps, followed by a CAPTIOL CRAWL

Join us for a day of celebration in partnership with PA Inclusive who is celebrating their 10th Anniversary. Fun, games, live music, resources, and more.
